Viral Illness

Viral illnesses can cause fever, fatigue, cough, sore throat, congestion, body aches, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Your provider will review symptom timing, exposures, medical history, and risk factors. Care may include supportive treatment, testing, isolation guidance, and follow-up. Seek urgent care for trouble breathing, chest pain, confusion, dehydration, or symptoms that are severe or rapidly worsening.

What to expect during a telemedicine visit

Your provider will help determine whether virtual care is appropriate and will recommend testing, in-person evaluation, or emergency care when needed. This information is educational and does not replace a personal medical evaluation.
