Bacterial Infections

Bacterial infections can affect the skin, throat, ears, lungs, urinary tract, and other areas. Symptoms and treatment depend on the location and severity of the infection. Your provider will review your symptoms, allergies, medications, and medical history and may recommend testing or in-person examination. Antibiotics are not appropriate for every infection. Seek urgent care for severe illness, breathing difficulty, confusion, rapidly spreading redness, or signs of dehydration.
