Urinary Tract Infection

A urinary tract infection can cause burning with urination, frequent urination, urgency, lower abdominal pressure, or cloudy or strong-smelling urine. Your provider will ask about symptoms, pregnancy possibility, prior infections, medications, and medical history. A urine test may be recommended before treatment. Seek urgent care for fever, chills, vomiting, flank or back pain, confusion, pregnancy with urinary symptoms, or rapidly worsening illness.
